My homepage is stuck on (http://solongas.com/hp.htm?id=632)
i try to change it to google.com and the next time i use the internet it works, but when i exit out of that window, then reenter the internet, the solongas is back. I've tried Adaware6.0 and Spybot search and destroy, and then i used hijack this and heres the log. PLEASE HELP!

Download CWShredder from here (http://www.computercops.biz/zx/phoenix22/cws.zip) & run it. Select the fix button & it will get rid of everything related to CoolWebSearch that is stored in it's database. Close ALL windows, including IE, before running CWShredder. Reboot.

To help prevent this from happening again, install the patches for the vulnerabilities that this hijacker exploits by going here (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) for your critical updates.

Reboot after doing this & post another log please.

then i checked my internet homepage which was about:blank, so i changed it back to google.com and then the homepage switched back agian to solongas

Remove these.

Reboot, then delete image.dll, C:\WINDOWS\System32\sysstartup.exe, C:\WINDOWS\System32\1slmoexxbz45f.dll, winlogin.exe and yuetyutr.dll

Then go to the following links and do a scan for more infected files, as winlogin.exe and yuetyutr.dll are part of the W32.Randex.E Trojan Virus (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.randex.e.html).

Which version of CWshredder do you have? The latest is 1.59 which has included the fix for solongas & sysstartup.exe Did you make sure that NO browser & folder windows were open when you ran it?? It cannot fix anything with those windows open. Still have trouble do it the same way in safe mode.
Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406)
