Hi All,

I've created several nr# of playlists in windows xp's media player. Like right click on MPG or MP3 files and select add to playlist.
Here you have the option to add files to current lists or make a new one.

Well I've made some new ones and would like to have others deleted, previous lists I created. But DEL doesn't work, which way you can delete those playlists? Most be some way, since you are able to create them..

There are two things to try here..

I think that the first one would work though because the second poster may be referring to the MRU list rather than the playlist.

This solves partly my problem.. It does remove the play lists, but all of them.
There must be an easier way? I can add play lists 1 by 1, why not delete them 1 by 1?

I'll await more ideas if it's ok. ;)

What do you mean when you say "Delete doesn't work"? Do you mean the Delete button on your keyboard or the red X at the top of the window? Right-click > Delete works for me. Here is the instruction from the Help menu.

To delete a playlist:

1. Click Media Library, and then, in the Contents pane, expand My Playlists.

2. Click the playlist you want to delete, and then do one of the following:
- Click the Delete button, and then click Delete Playlist.
- Right-click the playlist you want to delete, and then click Delete.

3. If prompted, choose one of the following options:
- Delete from Media Library only
- Delete from Media Library and my computer
