I am burning a few music files to a CD using Nero.
They are not all of equal volume and I would like to know if its possible in Nero to equalise the volume of all tracks before burning?
Thanks

Hi Wallie.
Using Ver.5.5 here and sometimes record internet radio in .wav format. You then can use Nero's wave editor to equilize volume levels and remove most noise before burning. It's by no means a great tool but it'll work for those with somewhat of a tin ear. There are plenty of free audio editors out there that will support more audio formats and do a much better job overall. But if all you want to use is Nero, that's about it. Not sure about Nero 6 ultra though, it may have more options. Haven't got around to checking it out yet.

I 'do' use Nero 6 'ultra' and it has some very good features. I don't bother with the 'wave editor' however. What I use is dBPower Amp music converter: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
When you convert several mp3's to wav or vice-versa, it gives the option to 'normalize' the sound. This isn't 'perfect' by an audiophiles standards, but does a decent job...

If you use Nero Express, there is the option to normalize on the compilation page (bottom right on my version). I did not have time to check in Nero proper but I thought I saw it somewhere. Check in Help for Normalize.
Personally I would be inclined to equalize the tracks prior to using Nero (I also use dBpowerAmp). You can play the full compilaton a few times to ensure it is what you want, no normalizer is perfect. If it is a quick compilation, I'm sure Nero will do it fine.
