Ok the infrastructure is as follows:
PC is on the middle floor
MAC is on the bottom floor
PC: D-Link wireless router
MAC: D-link Wireless Bridge

My main goal here is to get the 2 connected and for the PC with the router to act as a DHCP server to connect to the MAC and also for sharing internet connection. The Cable modem is located on the main floor with the PC.

Basically we plugged the router in and the bridge and it worked on it's own. No clue how. Anyway the MAC has had internet connection without any problem, but the PC wasn't working anymore after. It used to work on and off and now it doesen't work at all UNLESS I disconnect and reconnect the router.

So to fix the problem, I took out the manual for the router and followed all instructions and to connect to 192.168.0.1 and I ran the wizard and selected DHCP, etc etc

So now that I restarted the PC and all the PC worked fine, the internet was working fine but the MAC didn't work anymore. I tried reseting the bridge and restarting and nothing. It had the address 169.254.?.? meanign it wasn't getting i.p's from the router
I tried renewing and nothing. Rebooting and nothing.
I ran the wizard on the MAC and it couldn't find anything dynamically only statically. I tried entering all of the info statically and it kept giving me errors that it was incorrect when it wasn't.

Then when I went back upstairs the itnernet wasn't even working anymore up there.

So I just disconnected everything and gave up.

Now, I wan't to reinstall EVERYTHING all over again.
What do you guys recommend in order to do everything.

I was thinking on resetting the card on the MAC and disconnecting it from the system (b/c I heard by disconnecting it alone won't reset it) Then resetting everything on the router/pc machine. Reinstall the router on the PC and configuring everything first and then installing the bridge on the mac and set that up when everything on the router is configured.

Do you guys think I should reinstall the network card as well on the PC?

Any suggestions on a fresh start and a good order to go by so I don't juggle things around and cut corners which results in error at the end, I would love to hear them

Thank You :)

With the statememt up front that I have never touched a Mac, it should work fine but I think you will have to put the IP of your DHCP server in the 'Domaine Name' block.
