Internet default page not displayed

When I connect to the internet my default page does not display. Instead an address comes up "searchmeup.com". I have to reset my default page and go to LAN settings and undo a proxy page that I have to delete each time. I've run spybot and adaware but didn't seem to help.

You have been hijacked by a Coolwebsearch.

Download and run CWShredder.

Then download HijackThis, extrat it to its own permanent folder and run a scan, save the log and copy and paste it into your next reply.
