Switch to mac?

I've a pc but I think about switching to mac but most of the games on the pc. I searched and saw the
Microsoft Virtual PC For Mac 6.1 software. Can I install the Microsoft Virtual PC For Mac? Will it be slow down the computer? Is it more stabler than windows?
