Have a friend upon just recently gets disconnected from every game he gets on after a short period of time.. Has no idea why. Sadly enough,, thats all I know,,,, any thoughts ??

Just for starters:
What operating system? Any error messages? If he is simply surfing the web can he stay connected indefinitely? Who is his ISP?

What connection does he have?
What modem?

How long can he stay on... and when was the last time he ran a virus scan??? Sounds like my problem till I discovered microsft delt with this virus themselves. The fix is out there try Norton's.
