Hello,

I am switching our email server from pop to imap and I was wonder how to reconfig all the clients that are using outlook 2000. Is there a setting that I can modify or do I have to create a new account in outlook for all the users. I could create a new account and havr the users move their inbox and ect. in the new config. I was hoping there would be an easier way.

Thanks

Sorry, but you have to go in and create a new email account that is an IMAP account. My main account is an IMAP and I use Outlook 2002. I basically have a seperate Inbox for the IMAP that Outlook created. Outlook maintains a seperate .PST file for the cached email headers and messages. The regular .PST file will hold their contacts, appointments, and any other mail they want to save locally.
