How can I cut an irregular shape (rather than a rectangle) out of an image in the Irfanview window? If this is not possible, is there an airbrush feature so I can "paint over" the irregular area to hide it?

In your case, you can save the picture you wish to alter as a .BMP , then open Windows Paint, magnify up to 8x and fix the picture , save your work as 24 bit BMP and use Irfan again to convert to JPG/GIF. good luck Stefan Welshjim November 2nd, 2003, 01:55 PM best55--Thanks!! I was afraid that was the answer!! virtualdr.com
