Hi there all. I really would like to upgrade my computer speakers. I have a sound blaster live card. I want some real clear and crisp sound even when I crank them. Surround is not a must. Please help. Thanks

Get one of those sets that come with a woofer and four speakers, you can find some at $50 on up. Those sound good when watching a DVD

That's what I have right now. I have a set of surround sound logitech speakers. 2 of them are blown though and it does not have the greatest quality when cranked. I don't really take full advantage of the surround sound so 3 speakers or 5 don't really make a difference here although I think I would like to have a subwoofer as part of the set.
