Import Outlook Express 6 Idenities

I am planning on doing a clean install of xp. My question is how can I back up and move all my emails from outlook express 6 on my present ME install , onto the clean install of outlook express 6 / XP.

I came across this piece of software doing a google.... 'Outlook Express backup ' and it seems to do the job . Anybody used it?

Can I just burn all the emails ( .dbx files ) in my 'idenities folder' to a CD and import them to outlook express 6 on the clean install ?

Have a feeling this will not work. I have over 300 MB of emails that I do not want to lose .

I know I might be missing something obvious here , any pointers would be a big help .
