Visual studio - MSDN version? Pitfalls?

Hi,

We are looking at buying Visual studio (primarily to get our hands on source safe).

There seems a cheap option of MSDN subscription version ....what are the pitfalls of this. We believe for our needs, all should be ok.

Can anybody advise please.

Your more opt to get an answer by posting in a development forum. You just want sourcesafe? Looking for version control? There are other products, like MKS etc etc...
