Bryce & 3d Max Tutorials

Hi all,

I know there are a lot of experts out there and I would like a bit of help. Anybody know where I can find some good tutorials for Bryce and 3dMax? These need to be for absolute beginners as I have no experience with these programs yet.

p.s. I also need to be able to build a DVD style interface using these graphics - anybody know where I can find some examples - I don't have a DVD player so I have no chance of just reviewing the content at home! :(
