directX8.2 stuff?

Hi, I just installed directx8.2 on my comp and I found afterward that a pile of stuff has been installed as well. There are Internet/Online playing things, I guess, but since I don't do Online gaming, is there a way to get rid of them.

I post a screeny for you to see. I'll appreciate any input.

Hi. I've never seen any way to selectivley remove parts of directX. In fact it's only fairly recently that directX has been removeable at all thanx to a couple of enterprising programmers who designed little utilities to do so.

Thank you Fink, but I was aware of the program. My understanding is that it causes more problems than it solves.
But my question was how to get rid of the junk that directx installs side by side with the program.
