Newt February 22nd, 2003, 10:30 PM If the wireless router has enough ethernet ports (1 for the modem and one each for the wired PCs), you can just connect them with the proper cable (straight for the PCs and either straight or crossover for the modem - depends on your router). If not, you'll need a switch or hub to hook the wired PCs to and hook it to the wireless router. Crossover cable for that. Let the router do DHCP if it will (and this would have been lots easier if you'd posted specifics about your devices). Hook the printer to a PC, enable file & printer sharing on all the PCs, share the printer, and you should be good to go. BTW - this is a little safer if you use NetBeui for your internal file & printer sharing than if you use TCP/IP. I'd save that for the internet part. If you need specifics on setting up the networking part, do a google search for home network setup and pick the how-to article that suits you. I got over 1.5 million hits limiting the search to just English articles. virtualdr.com
