I have just bought a new camera with
4 megapixels
4x digital zoom
up to 43 pictures with built in 16 MB memory card and space for SD or MB memory card.
Now I have tryed taking photos some are good and the others are crap, fuzzy or out of focus. Is it me im not very good at taking photos should I be doing something diffrent ?

Any help would be helpfull

If some are good and others are out of focus, you might be moving the camera after you set up your picture, or the camera may be focusing on an object which isn't in the focus grid - say a picture of two people and the camera is focusing between the two. Try using the focus lock (which most cameras have - consult the manual). Most cameras have their focus point in the centre of the screen or/and the view finder.

Do NOT use the digital zoom, that will degrade the foto!!

Do a series of test shots on fixed subjects in the centre of the picture, and subjects with contrast - a row of books is good. Take three or four (or more) shots of each subject. If with a given subject, one is not sharp and the others are, then it is your camera. If all are sharp, it is you.

Watch your composition, and using the focus lock, make sure the camera is focused on the main subject.
