G'day tech's
we have a 3 PC network using Netgear and there are two small problems
1) we can only get into one of our PC's three or 4 pages and get locked on that page. have to ctrl/alt/del to get out
2) for no aparent reason we become un networked and have to run home networking again.
Pc #1: win me, t-bird 1.1, 512 ram
Pc #2: win98, Tbird 950. 312 ram
Pc #3: (mine) winme, P166, 128 ram (mine sucks):(
Any ideas? thanks for your time B5

1) we can only get into one of our PC's three or 4 pages and get locked on that page.
I have absolutely no idea what that means.

2) for no aparent reason we become un networked and have to run home networking again.
And does this one mean they quit connecting to each other, that networking blows up, or what? The symptoms you see are ......??

Also, are you running TCP/IP? It has lots of diagnostic tools that may help but only if you have it installed and working.

#1) example: network places/C: on Bob/windows/desktop....Freeze
#2) Yes, cant connect to each other, or , unable to browse net work
#3)Yes, TCP/IP is installed and there is nothing in the trouble shooting section that applies to this situation)
#4) Are you always this sarcastic to those of us who dont phrase thing correctly? If you needed more info all you had to do was ask. Pardon me for not having the PC smarts that would keep me from having to go looking for YOUR help in the first place......B5

b5nss - sorry you read my remarks as sarcasm. I simply didn't understand what you had written and said so. Not that you wrote it wrong but that I didn't understand.

But to avoid offending you again with more questions phrased in a manner that you don't like, I'll just drop out of this thread.

Cause otherwise I'd have to say I still don't understand #1 and that didn't work real well the first time I said it.
