I am beginning to suspect that there is a keystroke logger on some of the computers I use. I have had several passwords discovered, according to my logon data and other information. Is there any utility that can help sniff out keystroke loggers?

FINK posted a link over in the security fourm dealing with different sniffers. CLICK HERE (http://neworder.box.sk/codebox.links.php?&key=sniff)

Are these computers networked? Have you scanned for any back door trojans?

Trojans are not really my concern, this isn't my network, it's the schools. However my own personal password security is and even though I am allowed to check e-mail and such I want to keep my password secure. The administrators are also getting worried about keystroke loggers (at least they should be if they've thought of the possibility by now, which I'm not so sure about) due to a recent incident in which a mysteriously discovered password to an account with admin privs. for the main server was used to shut MS Exchange Server off.

So I don't doubt that there's a keystroke logger or two in this school somewhere. I'd like to be able to do something about it, and maybe help the IT guy in the process.
