If that doesn't work, try uninstalling then reinstalling the application. Installing the JVM isn't going to help, as the installable Yahoo! Messenger application is not a java app and doesn't require java to run. *the one that doesn't install on your machine (it is temporary) and that can be accessed via a link from the My.Yahoo homepage is a java applet...but I doubt that is what you're talking about. photolady October 11th, 2002, 08:42 PM I replied because that's what fixed my yahoo, but my problem was playing games.........what I posted was just a suggestion........hoping it would help steppenwolf....... come to think of it, I think this is what I posted to start with..... "if this is not the case, might want to check settings or re download and reinstall" steppenwolf October 11th, 2002, 09:07 PM i deleted it and put yahoo back on and it wont work,, it works on my other computer maybe i should have rebooted before i put it back on? photolady October 11th, 2002, 09:43 PM I don't know if that works always, but for me, after removing a piece of software, I find it's best to restart before reinstalling....sometimes even if not reinstalling........:D virtualdr.com
