Whats connected to my computer!??

When I clicked on my dialup shortcut today to log into the net, it took a long time to open up the connection window. I thought the computer had hung, but on ctrl alt del, I saw some processes disappear, then the connection window appeared.
I connected and ran netstat, which shows a foriegn connection to
ads.web.aol.com:http what is this?

Hmm, just realise that I may have had ICQ open when I did the netstat. This might explain it ..

Anything that connects to ads.whatever.com needs to die.
