Hello folks!
My network is made up of a winxp, win98 and winme PCs. It all works fine except that although all the other PCs are visible in network neighbourhood/network places of any PC on the network, the Winxp is invisible, as well as any of it shared items. It can be connected to and accessed through the address bar or search and double-click on icon but it does not appear like the other ones do on the network.
Any tweak I need to apply to make less cumbersome to access? I've set-up a shortcut on the desktop for it but this looks messy.
Thank you for any help.

net neighborhood takes up to 51 mins to refresh the list. leave it on for a while and see if it shows up later. one of the pc's has to be the master browser, since a domain controller isnt present, an election is forced. that list can take up to 51 mins to update, thats why you see PC's on there that have been off for a while. hope this helps...:)

Thanks JJ for your reply.
I've never waited that long indeed to check for those 51 min refresh time. And indeed the XP machine is the master on the network and that is the one which does not show up in ntwk n/hood of the other machines. The other machines are present on the XP and on each others ntwk places. Is this because the XP is slower to appear or what?
Thanks again for helping.
