I’m using word 2000 as my e-mail editor and I like it a lot. But I sat down at my computer to put an e-mail together, and when I clicked on new mail message I’ve got what looks like a icon in the body of the e-mail! Picture (http://208.254.56.37/Gimme/402573699/8875120/11/0/C85A0369-B86C-4A12-865C-6C71893FE7FE/0.428558/4/test.jpg). I don’t know how it got there, and I don’t know how to get rid of it! Can anyone help?

Looks like a paragraph mark.
Since you've just started the document, try this. Click once in the body of the document, press [Ctrl-A] then [Delete].

I finally figured it out! In the new mail you click on Tools/Options. Under formatting marks the ALL was checked. I unchecked it and it disappeared! I have no idea as to how it got checked, but at least I know how it’s done now.
